Who I am

More About My Background

Digital media has always been a constant in my life. Growing up as a fan and navigating stan culture in an online world taught me more than I ever expected about connection, passion, and how social media brings people together. For me, it was never about taking breaks from social media; it became a space to connect with friends, find community, and find myself in an ever complicated world.

When I started studying marketing in college, digital marketing and social media felt like a natural fit. It combines creativity, storytelling, and connection—all the things that excite me the most.

My favorite content to create revolves around my passions because it is easy to be inspired to make great creative content when you love the subject. I love being able to use storytelling to connect an audience to a brand.

I have a deep passion for understanding things: people, brands, pop-culture phenomenons. I have found that my passion for branding comes from this. That just like people, brands have their own identities, favorite colors, mannerisms. Understanding this gives me a unique perspective to curate content that aligns with a brand and connects with their audience. This also gives me the opportunity to curate partnerships, influencer collaborations, and other possible opportunities for a brand. When you understand what audience you are trying to reach and the best way to reach them, the content moves itself if you can manage and develop those relationships.

My Experience

Business Communications Intern at Integrity Fencing Company

As a local construction company, prior to my extended internship they had little to no social media presence. I manage their daily social media strategies, use analytical tools, and curate engaging multimedia content. I have been able to slowly develop a brand identity and separate them from their competitors in the area. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work with large scale partners such as sports teams in Denver, their alumnae, and other corporate partners in the area to develop mutually beneficial agreements that both boost our engagement as well as provide them with services.

Chapter President at Sigma Kappa Sorority

Through this role, I managed budgets and event planning to foster relationships and ensure consistent communication and engagement. In my time in this role, I directed daily chapter operations overseeing 100+ members and relations with 80+ organizations while growing membership by 56%. This is largely due to the involvement in social media strategy that the Public Relations Chair and I did to execute a successful rebrand of the organization. I oversaw the ideation, strategy, and planning of the content to ensure that we were executing the brand identity that we determined fit us.

Student Marketing Consultant at Cayenne Creative

The opportunity to work with Sam Burn, the founder and Principal of Strategy at Cayenne Creative on an account for a fast casual restaurant with a team of five. We produced content such as a brand manifesto video, mock social posts, and utilized storytelling in our multiple client pitch meetings. This opportunity allowed me to develop my market research skills and get to understand target markets more deeply. In the end, my team won the account and ended up doing “agency caliber work” according to Sam and his team.

Resident Assistant at Babson College

In my sophomore year, I was selected to become a resident assistant at my school and have been in the roll for three years now. This experience has taught me so much more about how to bring together people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. In this role, I have developed innovative community building strategies to enhance student engagement and have coordinated newsletters to send to residents about upcoming events and programs. Having managed over 179 residents, leveraging communication and problem-solving skills to mediate conflicts and create positive relationships has become a large part of my style.
